Orange Blossom Counseling is an integrative, mental health practice that partners with multiple providers to bring care and healing to our clients. Currently, we have three providers, which includes two therapists and one psychiatrist.

I treat a full-range of anxiety disorders including post-traumatic stress (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, hoarding, agoraphobia and panic disorders. I have extensive experience working with addiction. This includes chemical and behavioral addictions. Chemical addictions are substance addictions such as drugs or alcohol while behavioral addictions include sex addiction, shopping, gambling and self-harm. I also work extensively with people with problems emotional regulation problems such as clients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) or bipolar disorder.
Training and Experience
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and will provide a DBT informed treatment model, which includes individual counseling, skills training, phone coaching and therapist participation in a weekly peer consult group. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
As a therapist, I have been counseling adults for over eight years. During that time, I worked primarily in community behavioral health. The majority of his time was spent as member of the DBT program at MARC Community Resource Center in Arizona. I worked with substance abuse, general mental health and the seriously mentally ill population.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. My experience includes helping clients through custody, marital and legal difficulties. In my work, I have been called upon to interact with Child Protective Services (CPS), the criminal justice system and testify in civil legal matters.

My approach is integrative, combining mindfulness based meditation practice; with tools from several treatment approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play, Trauma Focused CBT, and Parent Management Training to fit the needs of my clients. My style is supportive, intuitive, warm and directive when needed. I have worked in private practice as well as mobile, intensive outpatient, and school-based mental health settings in New York and Florida. This experience in multiple settings has given me the tools to support, teach and advocate for my clients.
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) both in Florida Nad New York State, I have with extensive postgraduate training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent Management Training, and Crisis Interventions.
One of my specialties is DialecticaL Behavioral Therapy, in this modality I have lead and co-lead adolescents and adult DBT skills groups, and provided intensive individual DBT services, including skills coaching by telephone. I also have extensive experience treating trauma, including PTSD. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, the most effective treatment for trauma-related difficulties in children and adolescents. In my work with young and school-age children, I use Parent Management Training (PMT), a program that assists parents in managing their children's behavioral problems, both at home and in school.
