Family Therapy

Family Therapy

Is a form of therapy in which an experienced therapist meets and works with you and your family as a team. We provide strategies and tools to help you find tailored solutions for your family’s unique needs. Family Therapy seeks to improve the interactions among family members in order to improve their functioning both as a unit and as individuals. Our family therapists emphasize the role of the family relationship in the emotional health of its members. The goal of family therapy is to create healthy interactions within the home environment.
Our goal as family therapists is to help family members solve problems and conflicts within the family unit, through improved communication, greater awareness of childhood and adolescent issues and better understanding of special family situations. All family units including biological family, stepfamily, mixed family (with both biological and adopted offspring), adoptive family, family with same-sex parents, extended family (including grandparents and/or in-laws), or any other variation of the family relationship can benefit from family therapy. If you are experiencing family relational issues and/or communication difficulties, Family Therapy might be a suitable option to consider. It will enable family members to better understand and value each and assist you in restoring trust and strengthen connections.
